"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Jennifer Abcug, LCSW

Last Updated: 05/22/2012

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My practice areas include, but are not limited to: grief, loss and bereavement, living with chronic illness, coping with cancer, caregiver fatigue, anxiety, depression, fertility issues, marital stress, parenthood, women's issues and adolescent females.

Over the years I have incorporated a blend of approaches into my practice. Therefore, treatment is tailored to meet your individual needs. Some of the disciplines from which I draw are Gestalt, Cognitive-Behavioral, Insight-Oriented and Expressive Psychotherapies.

Emerson wrote: "What lies behind us and what lies before us are but tiny matters compared to what lies within us." My work is grounded in my belief in the resilience of the human spirit and the power of the client-therapist relationship to help access what we carry within.
