"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Are you currently:

  • suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, or grief?
  • experiencing relationship problems such as marital or relationship discord?
  • facing work issues?
  • having difficulty adjusting to medical problems?

I can help. I use problem solving and cognitive behavioral approaches as well as self soothing techniques to manage anxiety. I also have expertise in hypnosis and visualization to help manage specific issues such as stress reduction, smoking and weight control.

I have extensive experience providing therapy which helps people deal with a wide range of individual, relationship and substance abuse problems.  Besides my clinical experience, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Loyola Medical School where I teach and have supervised both psychiatric residents and social work interns.

I am able to develop professional, caring and supportive relationships with my clients and match my interventions with clients' goals and problems. During my free initial phone consultation you would be able to decide whether you are comfortable with my therapeutic style. I have a number of publications on such areas as stress, depression, relationship issues and post traumatic stress.
