Hello and welcome! My name is Rolando Fuentes. I am a clinical social worker who works with couples and families as well as individual adults. I specialize in bicultural couples and families who are having difficulty communicating with their spouse/partner or other family members. I provide psychotherapy for these couples and families. In addition, I work with same sex couples.
My theoretical orientation is psychoanalytic with a specific interest in analytical psychology and object relations. I do incorporate behavioral techniques as well as mindfulness practice techniques in the work.
My office is located directly across the Connecticut Avenue entrance to the National Zoo in between the Woodley Park and Cleveland Park Red Line Metro stops.
