"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with  30 years experience, I've  worked in  hospitals,  clinics, guidance centers, courts, and on psychiatric emergency teams. I have advanced training in eating disorders&depression and have consulted to the community on issues of ADHD, obesity, alcoholism, grief, parenting,  geriatric care and trained  graduate students from area colleges in short/  long term psychotherapy.
The foundation of my training is psychodynamic.  Additional training in cognitive behavior, family systems, and coaching,  has created an integrated   approach to my treatment of individuals, couples, and families.   Careful assessment determines which approach best suits each patient.

Patients of all ages,  ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations are welcome.   Medication evaluation/management is provided by collaborating psychopharmacologists.
My approach to patients is based on my conviction that truly effective therapists are careful, perceptive listeners who connect easily with their patients.  Their warmth & professionalism puts patients at ease.

In my initial meetings with patients, I carefully gather information which combined with my knowledge and experience,   allows me to readily grasp   complex problems and convey them clearly and respectfully to patients. We then work to formulate an effective treatment plan in line with their goals thereby promoting a better outcome.
