I believe sometimes life hurts and I want to help with healing and acceptance.
I work in helping families endure and understand the pain and anger of divorce.
I work with children whose parents are contemplating separation or divorce.
I work with couples thinking of separation, change or divorce and present options helping to preserve the marriage and family if appropriate. I provide focused therapy to couples in crisis who want to preserve an intact family. My years of experience have refined my ability to help others. I am a certified family mediator and bring the skills of negotiation as well as my mental health training to my clients.
I have met all of the requirements of the State of Florida to provide Parenting Coordination. Parental Coordinators work with parents after divorce to find ways to communicate with each other in the best interests of the children.
I have met the requirements of the State of Florida and of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit to evaluate, assess and provide a written report to the court which is called a Social Investigation. I do private Social Investigations in which both parties and their attorneys agree to contract with me.
Forensic work includes appearing and testifying in court or at depositions related to social investigations; parenting time issues and co-parenting problems. I do an initial no charge phone consultation and may provide referrals and information to suit particular needs.
I provide no charge consultations and if appropriate continuing therapy to those serving in the military. I will also provide consultations and counseling at no charge to their families.
Many military personnel and families suffer from deployment transitions and I am available to facilitate with transitions into civilian life or help with issues from active service such as post traumatic stress disorder.
I limit my service to one military family at a time.
