"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I bring a unique set of both professional and personal life experiences to my practice.  A Juilliard School graduate, I spent 25 years as a professional actress and singer before attending Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work where I received an MSW degree in 1997.  As a clinical social worker I have practiced in New York City and rural northern Maine (where I lived for 7 years), working with people across the developmental spectrum, often presenting with a wide range of complex biopsychosocial issues.

My areas of special interest include but are not limited to: healthy ageing; couple or marital issues; depression; anxiety; stress reduction; life transitions (especially mid-life), traumatic injury; interpersonal relationships; grief/loss; addiction recovery. I am also drawn to working with artists, veterans and adolescents.

I have recently joined the long-established private practice of Carnese Associates in West Islip. I can be reached at (631) 661-1614 where I have my own mailbox
