"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Independent Clinical Social Worker, Private Practice

Many issues come up for us in our experiences. Unfortunately, sexual abuse is one of them and many are seeking treatment. I have expertise in treating sexual abuse. While I am a generalist, I started working in a sexual assualt unit of a community mental health unit in 1991. Since then, I have continued to focus on treating sexual abuse survivors. It has become a passion to help heal and prevent this hideous problem.

I also deal with other challanges that are listed on this website. I offer compassion, understanding, wisdom and use best practices to collaborate with all my clients in their treatment. I'm the coach and you are runnning the plays. We work collaboratively in privacy. We tailor a treatment plan to you based on your input. What you tell me is confidential except in a few instances.

I stongly believe in the mind-body connection. The mind and body are always striving to heal us. When a life stressor occurs, people may lose their balance. You feel out of synch or know something isn't the same. You might feel anxious, stressed or depressed. You may have trouble sleeping or eating. Your body is responding to what is creating that out of balance feeling. It is telling you by giving you symptoms. But your mind wants to go back to the comfortable place it knows and put your life back on track.

I am a seasoned clinician with 18 years of clinical experience. I am passionate about this work. I use best methods for each client, tailored to need. The client comes first, always!. We work, laugh and cry at time. There is always hope here, even if I hold for you until you can. I care about you and want you to suceed.

I do my best to get new clients in the same day or next. Getting to a counselor can often be in response to need, often urgent. You should not have to wait.

By the way, if you are looking for one of the highest credentialled EMDR therapists in Southern NJ and the southern Jersey shore points, I'm just a phone call

Please checck out my new website;www. jkurektherpy.com. It's still in the revision process but you can learn a lot more about me there.
