"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Individual & Family Therapy

Therapy for college students

My practice includes individuals and families dealing with a large spectrum of emotional issues - including depression and anxiety - and spanning in age through the '90s. When possible, I make house calls to elderly or infirm clients in my local area. I am warm, encouraging, a strong motivator, and honor each individual's unique characteristics and strengths. Therefore, I tailor my methods to the unique needs of the client, utilizing psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavior therapy modes.

My extensive background as a psychiatric social worker has provided me with special skills and life experiences that I bring to my psychotherapy practice.  I have worked as a Case Manager in a continuing day treatment program for chronically mentally ill adults; as a Director for after-care services in an adult home; and as a Case Manager for a Protective Services for Adults agency, providing counseling and benefits certification for at-risk elderly clients suffering from chronic or terminal illness.

I have special interests in bereavement therapy, trauma, geriatric issues, life transitions, college student concerns, and adoption/infertility counseling.  I am conversant in both Hebrew and Yiddish as supplementary languages.

I am also a Beyond Consequences Institute (BCI) certified instructor and can offer help with parenting issues.
