"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

MY PRACTICE

I have been a Clinical Social Worker for 37 years.   I love being able to help people and to make a difference in their lives.  I work with adults, both individually and as couples. I see couples for pre-marital counseling, as well as marital therapy. Often times, individuals are able to resolve their issues and develop a stronger relationship. I also see adolescents who are experiencing adjustment issues, both at home and in school. My specialties also include working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment and eating disorders,as well of grief and gay and lesbian issues.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Although I often do short-term counseling, I have a psychodynamic background. I focus on the underlying dynamics that cause behaviors and feelings. I integrate this orientation with cognitive therapy, in order to help people change their negative thoughts and develop new behaviors.   I see many individuals for long-term therapy.  I take pride in being caring and attentive. Often, people will return years later for a "refresher session". The best compliment I can receive are referrals from patients for their family and friends.

PAYMENT

I accept reimbursement from many insurance companies.  I am also a provider for EAP's provided by local companies. I am willing to work out a sliding scale for those without insurance.  Please contact me at 480-946-1610 for a free phone consultation.
