"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Are you Stressed, Depressed or in a Problem Relationship?  I specialize in helping people feel more relaxed, more happy and more satisfied in their relationships.

Anyone who has had to ask for help with electrical or plumbing problems after trying to "do it yourself" will appreciate the value of a professional.  People who come to therapy are usually successful in most aspects of their lives.  There are just some problems that are very difficult to resolve without special skill and knowledge.

Smart People Get Help

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other methods including educational information about anxiety, depression and healthy relationships.

Although each of us is unique, we all have enough similiarities to be understood by someone who truly knows how to listen.  As I actively listen to you and begin to understand, I come to appreciate you for who you are and for how you want your life to become.  As we work toward your goals, you will begin to realize and achieve the life you deserve.

While never forgetting your strengths, I can help you make the changes you want at a pace that is comfortable for you.  Changing the things you can change is extremely satisying and the best way to have a satisfying life.  Unlike the work of other types of professionals nothing changes without your participation.

I believe that our past certainly affects who we have become, but we are more than out past.  We didn't have a choice about how we became who we are but we have choices now about who we want to become.

There are many reasons people come to therapy.  By the way, the words, therapy, psychotherapy and counseling have essentially the same meaning.  Some people want to solve a specific problem or set of problems, some people want confidential support and still others want to better understand themselves and their loved ones.   Some people attend one or two sessions, others attend 6-12 sessions and still others attend for longer.  Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually scheduled once a week.  More frequest sessions are scheduled if needed.
