"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker here to help those who are overwhelmed (anxious, stressed) as well as underwhelmed (depressed, lost interest) and many points in between.

Are you wondering why life seems so blah? Are you in the right relationship /job for you? Are you a woman who has trouble enjoying yourself because you are worried about how you look? Are you a man who has a history of sexual trauma and wonders who will understand? It is my honor to be able to work with you to achieve your personal goals, whether they be improving relationships, managing difficult moods or anxiety, or helping you to identify and overcome the obstacles that keep you from your true potential. Or, heck, just to have some peace!

One of my specialties is in helping people recover from obsessive, self-destructive behaviors and thinking, whether they involve feeling "addicted" to another person, behaviors such as gambling, or using substances in a way that is uncomfortable. This includes overeating, binge eating & poor body image issues.

Despite being surrounded by media portrayals of the "ideal body", you can have acceptance and peace around your body and learn to eat normally and in response to your own hunger signals. In doing so, you will shed the REAL weight (between your ears) and focus on what really matters.
