Daniel J. Kill is a Licensed Clinical SOCIAL WORKER with over 35 years of experience.  Daniel works  with adults, and youth in individual, family, and couples therapy.   

Daniel specializes s in the evaluation and treatment of depression, anxiety, domestic violence,  and  psychotic disorders including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other seriously emotional /psychological debilitating conditions .

Daniel assists clients using brief to intermediate-term therapy, as well as longer-term therapy for individuals seeking to change long-standing, problematic aspects of their feelings, relationships, or behavior. Daniel employs a variety of techniques (e.g. insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, solution focused) in order to help his clients. He utilizes interventions that are evidence based and are within the mainstream of the mental health community.

Throughout his 36 year career he has provided clinical work, as well as supervision, consultation and administration.

Daniel has also served as president/CEO at Thrive Counseling Center in Oak Park since 1996'
