"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Daniela Tempesta, LCSW

Last Updated: 11/15/2011

Daniela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides compassionate and personalized therapy for adults and adolescents in San Francisco.

I am a licensed psychotherapist in San Francisco with over nine years of experience working with adolescents and adults to overcome challenges and find joy and satisfaction in life. I am truly passionate about the work I do and bring that enthusiasm with me into every therapy session. I believe in your ability to create the life you desire and I will be there as a coach, referee, cheerleader, and loyal fan as you move through your journey.

My experience as a therapist includes working with adolescents and adults on issues such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, transition issues (career, relationship, etc), body image concerns, relationship concerns, and life purpose.

I am particularly interested in helping young adults navigate the special challenges that come with life in your 20’s and early 30’s, a phenomenon popularly referred to as the “Quarterlife Crisis.”  Rather than viewing this as a crisis, I view this unique time as an opportunity to truly get to know yourself and create the life you desire.

Whatever your reasons for coming to therapy may be, I’d like to be your partner and guide on that journey. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you reach your goals.
