"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Rosemary R. Gamin, LCSW

Last Updated: 02/28/2012

LCSW, Psychotherapist

Having practiced in the mental health field for 19 years, I am aware of the multiple reasons a person seeks mental health counseling.  Some of these include immediate crisis stabilitzation from a trauma or an unexpected major life adjustment. Also involved is the role of genetics in predisposing a person to depression, anxiety or a mood disorder.  Another is the effects of stress from relationship problems, unresolved family of origin issues, or role overload from the demand of trying to manage multiple, often competing responsibilities.  Whatever the reason, it is my role to provide you with respectful, competent, professional assistance in a supportive environment.  Presenting issues will be evaluated and a treatment plan developed on an individual basis and determineed by need and mutual consent.  I respect the treatment process and an individual's pursuit of growth and wellness.  For this reason, the length and type of treatment is tailored to each patient.

Although my practice has evolved into specializing wtih women's issues, I also have an active general practice serving adolescents and adults with a combination of individual, marital and family therapy.

I can be reached at (229) 226-7600, or email:  Rosemary@Gamincounselingservices.com
