Research shows that one of the most important factors in therapy that is helpful to clients is the relationship between client and therapist. Therefore, my focus is on listening carefully to my client's description of his or her problem to make sure I understand his or her feelings and thoughts about the problem, as well as the circumstances surrounding the problem. Only then can I provide support and be helpful to the client in finding answers.
I have considerable experience in a wide range of personal and relationship issues, as well as substance abuse. I have broad training in a variety of theoretical approaches, and my therapy incorporates all of them depending on the individual or problem at hand.
