"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinicical Social Worker

Hypnotherapist/ Hospice Certified

Imagine how joyful you'll be when we say goodbye at our last session.  What burdens will be lifted, and what accomplishments and feelings of wellbeing are you looking forward to? I don't feel discouraged by your problem because I can imagine you happy and my mind is already brainstorming what approaches might help you. We build on your skills and insights, emphasizing the positive, using visualization and healthy self-talk so you will be confident in your changes. I use mindfulness and hypnotherapy as well as humanistic and psychodynamic approaches.  My specialties are self-esteem, infertility, parenthood decision making, insomnia, women's health, pain, PMS, menopause, and chronic illness. I also work with end-of-life patients and their families on meaning, life review, pain management, hospice decision-making, storytelling, communication and forgiveness.  I am the author of The Baby Decision, and my writing has appeared in the Boston Globe Magazine, Glamour, Self and Brides. I have appeared on national and local radio and television news, talk shows and documentaries.  My work has been described in Time, Newsweek, and the New York Times. I have been in private practice for 28 years, and have 35 + years of experience as well as seven years of hopsice social work experience, including serving as the Director of Social Work at Beacon Hospice. I have also been Clinical Director of RESOLVE, the national infertility organization.
