"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Madelyn R. Senk, LCSW

Last Updated: 04/13/2011

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

          Personal Life Coach

Having raised six children and enjoyed several "careers", including teaching, before I trained to be a therapist, I bring a common-sense reality based approach to my clients.  My therapy philosophy offers usable and realistic tools that clients can continue to draw from long after our sessions are finished.

Life coaching gives me an opportunity to work with clients who are "stuck" and need some new ideas and encouragement to eliminate "overwhelm" in their lives or to face and resolve new challenges. I especially enjoy working with carepartners, who are dealing with the challenge of a loved one's chronic or life threatening illness. Change can be difficult for all of us, but the right approach can make it rewarding.
