"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Sheryl A. Van Haren, MSW, LCSW, LMFT

Last Updated: 08/22/2011

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Relationships--including those with ourselves--are fragile. Some, that have already been taxed by the challenges of daily living, have difficulty standing up to life's more serious stressors and the random reversals that periodically knock the wind out of us.

As a marriage and family therapist in practice for over 20 years, I offer a comfortable and confidential setting in which to address relationship problems and work for change. I help clients recognize that they have the strengths and resources to discover their own answers and solutions, and I assist them in gaining the clarity and confidence needed to make healthy and life-affirming choices.

Because treatment is tailored to each client's specific needs, a relevant, one-of-a-kind solution is generated. No psychobabble, no pat answers, no judgment.  Also, no congested waiting room and no long wait times.

Areas of expertise include but are not limited to family and couple issues, problem resolution, depression and anxiety, grief/loss/betrayal, life transitions, parenting challenges, workplace conflict &/or bullying, money problems (gambling and overspending), addictions, stress reduction, and spiritual concerns.
