"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Are you struggling with sadness or depression?  Confused about your relationship with your boss, or perhaps your partner?  Are you wanting more satisfaction and fulfillment in your life and in your marriage? Are you in pain often, or at times, about an experience in your past that still has a hold on you?

These are the kinds of general individual and couple issues that people bring to me in my private practice, located in central Austin.  I have over 25 years in the field, and bring acute, sensitive listening to help clients identify problems, build on their strengths, explore gently areas of activation, help them find creative solutions, and generally assist in expanding a client's capacity for joy in living.  Whille I've worked from a variety of theoretical perspectives, I'm especially pleased at this time to be offering clients work in Somatic Experiencing, a body-oriented psychotherapy that brings great results and true healing to work with any trauma.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Goucher College, in Baltimore, Maryland, and my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.  I've been licensed since 1987, and have worked at several family service agencies as a clinician and as supervisor.  I've also served as Clinical Director at an employee assistance company and at the YWCA of Greater Austin, where I've supervised other clinicians and managed clinical programs and procedures in the Austin area.
