"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Steven M. Hirsch, Ph.D.

Last Updated: 06/24/2011

Licensed Clinical and Foresic Psychologist

The cornerstone of my service, which distinguishes me from others, is my training, experience, integrity, insight, skill and dependability. I am a recognized expert at evaluations of chemical dependency problems and highly skilled at providing accurate and objective substance abuse evaluations in difficult custody cases.  Another area of specialization involves my medical-legal services to individuals who are injured through the California Workers’ Compensation system. I conduct fair-minded Qualified Medical Evaluations and Agreed Medical Evaluations for injured workers. My medical-legal knowledge allows me to provide expert forensic witness services and case review of psychological injuries in a variety of legal situations. I also assess adults and children who are struggling educationally or in life where an effective psychological assessment can provide answers to understand your strengths and weakness’ and to make cutting edge diagnostic decisions. The heart of my evaluation is the recommendations which are tailored to you or your child’s unique strengths and needs so that challenges can be overcome.
