"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

After practicing psychotherapy for most of 30 years there isn't much I haven't heard, seen and studied about at some point in that time. Besides helping people succeed in working out solutions to problems with depression, anxiety, phobias and substance abuse, I have developed some specializations in areas of particular interest to me and I hope of particular help to my clients.

The first is family systems work for which I took advanced training.  I especially enjoy helping couples find a better balance in their relationships, through improved communication and a better understanding of each other's needs. I work with couples of all kinds and at all stages in their relationships. My goal is to create a safe environment in which positive change can be risked and achieved.

The second area of special interest has been working with people who have had traumatic experiences, whether it be childhood abuse and neglect or other accident and injury. My special training in hypnosis and EMDR can assist in that work.  Both approaches also help people work successfully on fears and phobias and habit change.
