"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Brian Hugh Marren, R-LCSW/DCSW/CASAC

Last Updated: 08/30/2011

Licensed Clinical Social Worker - 20 + years expertise in Addictions & Compulsive Disorders Interventions

I have been in the Chemical Dependency field for over 21 years and have served individuals, families and companies of all economic and age parameters. I am an interventionist treating crisis management secondary to addictive and compulsive disorders. I support my clients in making immediate changes to their lives and while I am always open to additional and follow-up services, my focus is brief therapy. I believe in the intervention, change and re-entry school of recovery. My primary method is Cognitive Behavior Therapy but I am eclectic in that the treatment I employ is determined by client needs. The quality of my services are attested to by my holding the highest honors of the State of New York, the R-LCSW license, and the National Association of Social Worker's Diplomate of Clinical Social Worker (DCSW). My practice is limited to addictive and compulsive disorders and the personality disorders which frequently accompany them. While I believe that addictive disorders are a family disease, I am extremely discreet and follow client mandates.
