"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Carol Martino, LCSW

Last Updated: 03/06/2012

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Individual and Couples Therapy

I am a licensed psychotherapist and trained contemporary psychoanalyst in practice for the past 20 years. I work primarily with adults who are interested in addressing relationship issues, career impasse, anxiety, depression, trauma and self-defeating behavior. If you have had difficulty resolving inner conflicts or suffer as a result of problematic relationship experiences, we will explore the origins and meanings together in a collaborative and interactive form of therapy.

Through this therapeutic process you will gain self-awareness and will be better able to understand and resolve obstacles to personal growth. We will explore how past experiences inform and sometimes limit our perspectives. The process of learning to listen to your innermost thoughts and feelings will move you toward a path of experiencing a more fulfilling, authentic and gratifying life.
