"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Walter Simmons, LCSW

Last Updated: 05/09/2012

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I have been in practice for more than twenty years. I like to think that I accommodate my approach to the needs and personalities of the people who come to see me, rather than embracing one therapeutic theory and trying to apply it to everyone. In addition to my degree in Social Work, I am also credentialed in Marriage and Family Counseling. I especially enjoy working with couples, as well as helping creative artists with the kinds of challenges particular to that field of endeavor. (I have been active in the world of the arts myself.) I prefer working with adults, and have been successful in treating people who suffer from anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Feel free to contact me by phone or by e-mail, so that we can discuss how I may be able to help you.
