"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Randall L. OBrien, LICSW

Last Updated: 3/13/2014

LICSW, 40 yrs. in the field

I've been working as a Clinical Social Worker since graduation form the University of Chicago. In 1978, after for four years in the USAF as a clinician, I worked in community mental health. I began working with Viet Nam vets and then other trauma surviviors.  I have continued my work in trauma with adults along with working with highly dissociative individuals. I also work with veterans with the new men and women from the Mideast conflicts. I also see many couples and was a family therapist for the first 15yrs. in the field. Working with many individuals with histories of trauma, I also work with a variety of addictions both substance and process.  I am one of those lucky individuals who truly ejoys what I do in this life and clients find this helpful.
