"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Don Zuckerman, MSW

Last Updated: 11/11/2011

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

All of us experience difficulties, but sometimes it is hard to face them alone. I am an active and engaged therapist who will join with you to get to know you as well as possible, so you can use this self-awareness to make better, more satisfying choices on a day-to-day basis. Whether you are feeling depressed, anxious, unfocused or dissatisfied, this exploration will help you bring out your most adaptive responses.

I believe that most of our symptoms and problems arise when we move through life on "auto-pilot," relying on old learning from the past. My goal as a therapist is to help you become fully awake to the immediate experience of your life, as we pay thoughtful attention to you from moment to moment. We will approach this task with compassionate interest and curiosity and without judgment.

Combining more than 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist with the latest brain research, I will help you address your hopes and concerns in a constructive and caring way. We will identify and amplify your strengths so you can develop new, more adaptive ways to face your life directly and fully.
