"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Mark Chatkin, LCSW

Last Updated: 06/18/2011

Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My approach is one of collaboration with the client. We talk about what the issues are and try strategies that will lead to an improvement in how the client is feeling. We will also try to develop effective coping mechanisms so that you will be able to recognize any triggers that cause problems to arise. In other words, a person has no control over the words or actions of another person, no control over how they feel about those words or actions, BUT they do control the actions they choose to take in response to those stressors.
