"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Lisa Bearak Shuman, LICSW

Last Updated: 02/28/2011

I having been in private practice for 28 years. My clients are all treated with respect, within a safe environment and provided treatment according to their needs.  My style is interactive, utilizing the clients strengths as we work together towards achieving their goals.  Years of professional experience provide my clients with a variety of treatment options, basing treatment on the needs/goals of the individual, couple or family.  As a Therapist and Life Coach, it is important to me that I provide my clients with a positive experience. Treatment should conclude with them feeling better about themselves, and having met "their" goals.

My practice consists of individuals, couples and families.  I treat depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, everyday life stresses and transitions.  Treatment modalities include coaching, behavioral, cognitive, solution focused and psycho-dynamic.

Developing a positive relationships with my clients is of utmost importance.  I feel it is imperative for each client to pursue their goals in a safe environment, comfortable setting and trusting relationship.  The work I do today remains enriching, enlightening and gratifying.
