"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Anita Laviola, QCSW, LCSW, CSAC

Last Updated: 05/06/2012

Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1991 Certified Substance Abuse Professional since 2001

Anita Laviola has been a Professional Social Worker since 1991.  Specializing in substance abuse issues, including co-dependency; anxiety/PTSD; sexual assault; depression; trauma; grief and loss; eating disorders and other compulsive disorders--shopping addictions, debtor issues; family therapy and negotiating life transitions; art blockages and allowing oneself to be creative.  I work with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family and group settings.  I have had the pleasure of working with a number of mothers and fathers with their teenagers to minimize the tensions around issues of adolescence, independence, dating, future planning.  I love being part of people's transformations, growth and becoming resilient and free to live their lives as fully as they want.  As a visual artist I understand the complex dynamics of creativity and blockages to ones process as well as this being a vehicle to personal growth.
