"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Licensed Clinical Alcohol/Drug Counselor

I take an active role working with my clients.  Focus is on functioning in the here and now with a look back to the past only as it may influence the present.   Relationships are key starting with ours, and can include your romantic life and/or marriage, and interacting with friends, your parents, children or grandchildren and coworkers.  You will be encouraged to seek a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally.  I do make suggestions, but the choices are always your own.  When working with substance abusers I don't discharge relapsers because I see that as a sign that we need to work harder or try another approach.   We'll have a partnership, but you will only get out of therapy what you are willing to invest in it.  I wish I did, but I don't have a magic wand.
