"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Patricia Joan Sullivan, MSW, LCSW

Last Updated: 11/12/2011

MSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a warm and caring therapist specializing in work with adults and adolescents. I provide a calm, comfortable and safe environment conducive to helping clients with multiple problems and stressors to feel supported and understood and better able to use their personal resilience to create change in their lives. I believe each client is unique and has the capacity and strength to change and grow as he or she gains insight in treatment.

My approach is tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, and I utilize an eclectic variety of methods and theories. I am psychodynamic in orientation but weave cognitive behavioral techniques, developmental theory and psycho-educational elements in my work.

I have worked extensively with individuals, couples and families in a wide variety of settings. I have experience in crisis intervention and diversity issues. My clinical experience includes treatment for depression, anxiety, loss, anger, relational issues, parenting issues, behavioral issues and stress management.  Free phone consultation available.
