"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups in an interactive, collaborative style that is both challenging and compassionate. My goal is to help you pursue growth and healing so you can experience fulfillment in your life.

I have a results-oriented focus in all the therapy work I do. I utilize psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help individuals recover from setbacks, learn new ways of coping, and enjoy life more.

As a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, I am trained to help couples develop safe and constructive communication skills that enable them to restore closeness and resolve conflicts effectively.

I am also a Certified Group Psychotherapist and lead an ongoing psychotherapy group for women who want to improve their relationship skills and self-esteem.

My office is conveniently located near Metro, across from the National Zoo. I offer a free initial telephone consultation to all prospective clients.

I invite you to call me at (202) 328-9055 for more information, a telephone consultation, or to schedule an appointment. Further information about my practice is available on my website at www.AliciaGeorge.com.
