"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Linda Leiphart, PsyD

Last Updated: 05/18/2012

Dr. Linda Leiphart

Licensed Psychologist

I work with adolescents and adults, struggling with painful emotions, to create a more meaningful life, cope more effectively with stress and improve their relationships. You may be here because your life is feeling a bit out of control. You may be feeling depressed or anxious, possibly frustrated with emotions that change quickly. My approach begin with listening and developing a non-judgmental understanding of what brings you to therapy at this time in your life. We then work together on helping you move toward the life you want to be living.

Our emotions rise out of a combination of individual biology, life experiences and how we think about what's going on in our life each day. With mindfulness, acceptance and compassion, I provide evidence-based treatments of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These are treatments that have demonstrated effectiveness in clinical research studies to help people struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-injury, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, substance abuse, chronic pain, and eating disorders.
