"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

“supporting you through life’s challenges”

I am Stephanie Liebling, MSW, a licensed clinical social worker practicing mental health therapy. I strive to encourage, teach and support self-understanding, self-awareness and self-sufficiency while also acknowledging the need for support through family, friends and the community. I strongly believe that the therapeutic process is one part of a comprehensive support network for you. My work is guided by the Strengths philosophy within Family systems theory, professional ethics and a spirit of serving this community. I specialize in Play Therapy – a specialized treatment modality that involves specific techniques typically practiced with children from ages 4-13. Additionally I am fluent in sign language and have worked in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community for over 10 years.

My office is easily found - just West of Highway I-35 and 75th Street in Merriam and I serve the greater Kansas City area. The office is on the second floor and there is ample handicapped parking as well as access to the office. In addition to the main office, I have a separate play room designed especially for work with children in Play Therapy.
