"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Carol Novak, LCSW

Last Updated: 12/13/2011

So many people seem willing to invest tremendous energy in mastering the lastest cell phone, computer or exercise craze however give little thought to what makes them think, feel and behave in the ways they do. Until something happens that severly impacts their relationships, either once or repeatedly, they resist gaining insight into healthier, less damaging, emotional development. Therapy is a course in living; sometimes painful, sometimes joyful but always enlightening.I work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and situations. I have helped them grow and develop from confused to clear, from dejected to hepeful, from feeling weak to feeling empowered. My philosophy of practice is cognitive-behaviorally focused but I use psychodynamic methods as well.
