"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Pamela J. Bell, LCSW

Last Updated: 02/14/2011

Pamela J. Bell

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Seeking the support of a therapist is a positive step toward actively addressing and resolving emotions and situations that are troubling you.  Many of my clients start therapy because they are feeling anxious or depressed, burdened by relationshp struggles, or stressed by life's demands.  Others use the therapy experience as a way to maximize personal happiness and explore self-improvement.  No matter what you may be feeling, please know that you do have the potential to change your behavior patterns, the way you think about challenges, how you respond in relationshps, and how you care for yourself.  It's my honor to guide people on this process.

The biggest predictor of success in therapy is whether you feel comfortable with your therapist.  My style is supportive and respectful, but also practical and action-oriented.  I realize that starting therapy can feel intimidating and I place the highest priority on creating a caring, safe, and confidential environment for you to discuss your thoughts and feelings.

Please explore my website at http://www.pamelajbell.com and read this Chicago Tribune article for a more extensive explanation of my practice.  I also invite you to contact me for a confidential, free phone consultation to get a beginning sense of what I offer as a therapist.
