My approach is to make everyone as comfortable as possible. When someone feels comfortable they feel free to focus on the work that they identify as important. My approach to therapy is to work through the relationship developed between therapist and the individual as well as assisting the individual to identify thoughts, emotions and behaviors which maybe contributing to a particular problem.
I have over 30 years in practice, so I have expertise in many different areas, including, Veterans, PTSD, Adolescents, Substance Abuse, AIDS, Cancer, Chronic Illness, Chronic Pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Womens Health, Mens Health, Mental Health, and LGBT Mental Health. For the past 12 years I have specialized in working with individuals who have identified as struggling with their Gender Identity, My work focuses on assisting them to reach thier own personal comfort with self, and assist thier families to work toward acceptance.
