he has had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings:
as a therapist, supervisor and clinical director of a large Family &
Children's Service agency, as a therapist at a psychiatric hospital,
in an employee assistance program, in a hospital-based outpatient
behavioral health clinic and finally in private practice. His wide range
of experience has enriched his ability to provide care for a variety of
concerns in his practice. Steven has lectured and presented workshops on
numerous topics including: Effective Parenting, Successful Step Families,
Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Couple Communication
and Coping with Crises. His approach to the therapy process is grounded in
the belief that every person, couple or family seeking therapy is unique and
that the therapy must be tailored to the particular strengths and needs of
that person couple or family. Steven provides therapeutic services for
families and couples, as well as individual children, adolescents and adults.
His current practice is focused on building solutions for difficulties
such as Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Problematic Behaviors, Addictions, Family/Relationship Conflicts, Divorce, Remarriage, Parenting, Stress, Grief, and Life Stage Adjustment. Steven also provides Family/Divorce Mediation, Parenting Coordination and DOT/SAP evaluation services.
