"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Anne M. Evered, LCSW

Last Updated: 03/09/2012

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello! I am Anne Evered, and I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults for a variety of issues. As a Licensed Psychotherapist my goal is to help people make good decisions and positive changes in their lives. My style is interactive and conversational. I work collaboratively with you. I do not give advice, nor do I impose my values on others. Rather, I am trained to help you explore your own beliefs so you can choose the answers that work for you.

All treatments used in my practice are "evidence-based", meaning that research supports their effectiveness.

I work from a "Strengths Perspective", meaning that I focus on strengths, not weaknesses. I also employ Creative/Experiential Therapies such as painting, drawing, and writing which helps people increase insight and express their feelings.
