"I can't thank you enough. Your web site is such an incredible resource. I only wish I had found it earlier..."

Irene A.

"I have to say that I am most impressed with your site. As I told you I had "googled" and "yahooed" for this information but found nothing that compared to your database... My search was becoming very stressful and I wish to thank you for relieving that stress."

Janet S.

Betsy M. Lang, LICSW, OSW-C, DCSW, CT

Last Updated: 03/18/2012

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, MSW, LICSW, OSW-C, CT

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Thanatologist, and a musician my passion is to serve people struggling with the fears of life threatening illnesses or other life altering transitions. As a professional musician with over 40 years experience I understand the fears  and anxiety caused by performance and competition. As a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience I help people cope with stress, anxiety, and depression caused by these fears, transitions and losses.  These loses may include job, financial security, health, intimacy, or relationships.  Fears and losses alter our lives and cause us to question the meaning of life. Questioning why this has happened helps us to re-prioritize what is important to us. My unique practice blends two life passions, built on privacy, respect and trust, with active listening, clear communication and most importantly, hope.

I currently provide Clinical Social Work servcies at Massachusetts General Hospital, Bone Marrow Transplant division.

I am located behind North Shore Mall, adjacent to Interstate 95/128, wheelchair and elevator accessible with access to local bus routes, and offer free parking in a safe, well lighted location.
