Terms and Conditions for Use The National Association of Social Workers (“NASW”), the owner of the National Social Worker Finder (“NSWF”) database, and HelpNet, Inc. (“HelpNet”), the company that maintains and operates the National Social Worker Finder, grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the information contained in the NSWF for your personal, non-commercial use. The information contained in the NSWF database is provided by social workers who have identified themselves as licensed in the state in which they practice. NASW and HelpNet expressly disclaim responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all such information, and for any errors resulting from the use of such information. NASW and HelpNet make no representations or warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Always obtain references from authoritative independent sources regarding any provider's credentials and professional reputation before engaging the provider's services. Do not rely solely on this or any other database. In no event shall NASW or HelpNet be liable (a) for any damages including indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any sort, whether arising in tort, contract or otherwise, even if NASW or HelpNet has been informed of the possibility of such damages, or (b) for any claim by any other party. This limitation of liability shall apply to the extent permitted by law. The NSWF database is copyrighted ©2008 by the National Association of Social Workers. The HelpPRO software is copyrighted ©1995-2008 by HelpNet, Inc., all rights reserved. Data may not be duplicated in hard copy or machine-readable form without the prior written authorization of the owners. Under no circumstances may copies produced under this provision be offered for sale or resale. Title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the NSWF database and its contents shall remain in NASW and HelpNet. Title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the HelpPRO software shall remain in HelpNet. HelpPRO® is a registered service mark of HelpNet, Inc. Rev. 7/08.
