Credentials and Certifications:
Social Worker, Licensed Clinical (LCSW)

Prior to starting my solo practice I worked for 16 years in hospice care throughout the Bay Area. I bring to my work a deep caring for those in grief and those facing serious illness and well as the loved ones providing care. If you are an adult child caring for elder parents or you are a parent of a child with a difficult illness, you are facing unique challenges in caring for others while attemting to maintain some equillibrium for yourself. Facing serious illness, pain and the "unknown" challenges us to the core.Dealing with illness and loss means "calling in the troops" of support. I draw from traditional "talk" therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness and resilience practices, social/community supports among other "tools". Together, wefind a way through thatis personal, transformative and safe.
