Life is complex and there are times that having a very experienced therapist working with you and your family can make a big difference. I will work with you to identify your specific challenges and then develop a clear plan to adress them and then to successfully implement it. I have over twenty five years of experience helping people move beyond depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, OCD, phobias and family conflicts. I will work with you, your children or partner to gain new insights, feel increased self confidence and to use newly developed skills in intimate relationships, work and school.  I work in a warm, respectful, empathic manner, helping you to feel comfortable, safe and engaged in the process. Our highly targeted work will derive from your specific needs. I use brief and long term approches, including insight oriented, EMDR (Bilateral Stimulation), cognitive behavioral and midfulness approaches. My extensive training includes Master's Degrees and Advanced Clinical Certificates from NYU, EMDR training, and a certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from New York's National Institute of the Psychotherapies. Early in my career, I worked with a wide variety of clients in crisis at Four Winds and Saint Vincent's Hospitals and for decades have been helping individuals and families sort through very difficult points in their lives, as well as making changes aimed at achieving a deeper sense of balance and fullfillment.
