I appreciate your reviewing my profile and considering working with me.  If you are struggling to move beyond your past and live peacefully in the present then lets consider working together.  It is invaluable to have a skiiled helper assist in healing the blocks to the true self and get free from limitation, depression, anxiety and fear.  If you are looking for a therapist who is heart centered and compassionate and has the experience and skill of a well trained and seasoned clinician lets talk about working together. Skilled clinicians have appropriate training and are licensed but that is just the beginning. While it isn't necessary to have had the same life issues, it is critical that the clinician has faced and worked through his/her own blocks to experience and understand personally what it takes to grapple with, heal and move beyond limitation and suffering. This is the foundation of empathy. For example, it was not until I personally experienced ongoing physical pain that i could truly appreciate what that was like for others.

Life is a journey to find oneself and discover the powerful truth of who we really are.  The first part of life is often about struggle; feeling misunderstood, lost and hurt. The second part of life however is often a turning point. During this period there is a greater drive to work through and move beyond what we took in and believed about ourselves, about others and about life itself during that first part. Therapy including the healing of painful life events (through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing-EMDR) offers a powerful opportunity to heal at a core level.  If my reflections resonate with you and you would like to consider working with me, please feel free to give me a call at 619-876-2014.  Warm regards, David
