I believe in helping people find a balance in their lives by gaining insights and knowledge that improves their personal satisfaction, their sense of self, and their effectiveness.  My therapeutic approach is derived from my quality education and real life experiences.  I specialize in the building of strong foundation relationships and teach the tools that are necessary to continue positive progress within those relationships.  My unique life/work experiences have enhanced my ability to understand others and guide them through life's challenges.  I have extensive experience in working with codependants, emotional manipulators/personality disorders as well as cancer patients and their families.  I worked in Oncology/Hemetology for 7+ years as well as have had my own family and personal experiences with the trials of cancer.  I am currently working on finalizing my education and supervision in Sex therapy/education to add to my practice in working with couples and individuals.  I also enjoy working with first responders as I was once a firefighter and a paramedic myself. I am also a certified mediator for divorce and custody cases and have a lot of experience in working with the court system.  I consider myself to be down to earth and relatable to most people, which I feel is necessary in building a therapeutic relationship that works.
