True healing - vs. simply coping - requires more than talk.  It requires connection - with Self and Others.  It also requires combining talk therapy with somatic therapies that resolve trauma once and for all.  My therapy practice has evolved over the last 20 years to combine insight-oriented talk therapy with somatic work and trauma resolution modalities.  With these transformative and healing approaches - Grounding, Meditation, Mindfulness, EFT Tapping and Progressive Counting - it is possible to finally heal, make peace with your Self and live a meaningful life.

Women have always faced unique internal and external obstacles along their path to wholeness.  I am committed to the emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being of women of all sizes and shapes, races and religions, sexual orientations, social standings and life experiences.

I offer a safe space for Women, and specialize in Family of Origin Issues, Binge Eating and Emotional Eating, Coming Out Later in Life and other LGBTQ Issues, Relationship Issues, Work and Career Conflict, Trauma Resolution, Anxiety, Depression and Stress - all from a Woman-centered perspective.

Prior to reaching out, please read all of the information on my APPOINTMENTS page carefully.  I am looking forward to connecting with you.

Please call me at 770-313-7768 or email me at my HIPAA compliant and encrypted email address melissa@melissalesterolson.com.
