I am a clinical neuropsychologist with an expertise in conducting neuropsychological and psychological evaluations with patients ranging in age from late adolescence to advanced age. Evaluations offer functional and diagnostic clarification, as well as individualized treatment recommendations, for patients with neurodevelopmental disorders, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, attentional disorders, psychiatric illness, movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, head injury, and other medical conditions. I have extensive background conducting evaluations of academic and learning disabilities, including eligibility for accommodations. Assessment of individuals with comorbid cognitive and psychiatric difficulties is a particular interest.
My training background includes completion of my doctorate at Boston University, and pre- and post-doctoral internship training at The Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I bring over 20 years of experience as a senior Staff Neuropsychologist in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. I have a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry where I teach and supervise pre-doctoral and post-doctoral Psychology students.
