Jody Scheier has served on the faculty of the Family Studies program at Wheelock College, the Gerontology Summer Institute at Boston University, as a senior consultant to The Family Center in Somerville, MA. and on the faculty of the Family Institute of Cambridge where she also co-lead the Action Methods and Video Feedback Interest group. Currently, Jody is a teaching consultant at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard University Law School, is a senior clinical consultant at the Parenting Journey, is a facilitator/consultant for the Triad Consulting Group, and is on the faculty of Lesley University’s Graduate Program in Counseling and Psychology.

She offers training workshops in family therapy and the use and application of action methods; psychodrama, role-play, and role-reversal in clinical interviews, conflict resolution, consultation, and negotiation. She is one of the original developers of the Interpersonal Skills Exercise for the Negotiation Project at Harvard Law School.
