Through psychotherapy, every person has the capacity to grow and change and live the life they’ve always imagined.  I can help you recognize and alter patterns in your life, develop new skills to enhance your relationships with family, friends, and partners, and move toward greater joy and personal fulfillment.

My goal as a psychotherapist is to help patients better understand themselves by developing insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. To facilitate this process, I provide a safe and supportive environment in which counterproductive patterns of behavior are examined within the therapeutic relationship.

As an eclectic therapist primarily trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, I believe that the unconscious patterns generated in childhood greatly influence the present and future.  I help patients heal from childhood wounds that may be impeding their ability to create the life they want.  To facilitate that process, I utilize several approaches (relational, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused) to meet the individual needs of my patients.
