Licensed Clinical Social Worker

During the NYS state of emergency period, I am temporarily not accepting new clients.  Am however accepting former clients who wish to return. All appointments during this state of emergency period are by telemedicine, which may include regular phone calls for those without a smartphone or computer/laptop/ipad.  I am an experienced therapist dedicated to working with adults, adolescents 17 and older, and families across a wide range of family and mental health concerns, toward better mental health and a stronger family life. I believe I have a sensitive, very respectful approach, without jargon. Special focuses include anxiety, depression, family and parenting issues, trauma (physical, emotional and sexual), loss, and urgent family and work matters.  An additional specialty is consultation and therapy with the elderly, for caregivers of the elderly, and for those in caregiver roles for any age. Can refer to a psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication evaluation and prescribing and/or consultation, when needed. Am also honored to provide trauma informed care to military members and their families. My office manager is Michelle, 585-544-5342, to arrange an appointment or other kinds of office questions, her hours are 9am-3pm.
